Village is a unit of population. This is mainly a small settlement of human communities in the agrarian region. Where the communities living, they live a very simple way through farming and various small tasks (such as a potter or worker's work). Villages are usually located far away from the big city or the capital city. There are not many modern amenities like the city of the village. Because of this, the zamindars and rajagans lived in the city but maintained relations with the village.

Agriculture-based villages were the source of revenue collection in ancient feudal society. Besides a farmer in a village, people living in the villages of Kamar, Kumar, Majhi, Methar, Jail etc. are living. The village was originally an autonomous area.

After the permanent settlement of 1793, there was considerable change in the rural governance and taxation system. In this system the zamindars got the full right of the village land. During the modern state system, the selection system of local government system has been introduced at village level and separate administrative structure has been developed. [1]
